PArentinG IQ

Parenting is about more than helping our children make good choices—it’s about helping them understand who they are, how to care for themselves and others, and how to navigate an increasingly complicated world with confidence and wisdom.

Parenting IQ offers research-informed, practical resources to help parents have meaningful conversations about topics that can sometimes feel difficult to approach, including body image, sexuality, relationships, values, and healthy decision-making.

The goal isn’t to parent from fear, but to give our children the knowledge, skills, and strong sense of self they need to make thoughtful choices for themselves.

These handouts were created to help parents continue important conversations at home long after a class or conference ends. I’ll continue adding research-informed, practical resources to Parenting IQ on topics that help children and teens develop a healthy sense of identity, body image, sexuality, relationships, values, and agency.

My hope is to give parents thoughtful tools for conversations that can sometimes feel difficult—so we can teach our children with knowledge, connection, confidence, and love rather than fear.
